LOCTITE® 5203 is a 1-part, low-strength, dimethacrylate ester gasketing sealant for machined, rigid metal flanges requiring easy disassembly, typically gearbox and engine casings. It fluoresces under UV light – great for quality control. This red viscous, anaerobic-curing flange sealant fills gaps up to 0.125 mm and typically provides a 10-minute fixture time on steel and a 20-minute fixture time on aluminium. Its thixotropic nature makes it easy to apply and reduces sealant migration after application. LOCTITE 5203 cures rapidly when confined in the absence of air between close-fitting surfaces.
