For reducing friction between surfaces in extreme environments, LOCTITE® LB 8017 is a great choice. This black, heavy-duty lubricant is ideal for general plant maintenance, metalworking trades, machinery manufacturing and commercial jet engine manufacturing. It reduces friction between surfaces in many extreme environments, including those with high and low temperatures. For continuous use in sliding friction, it resists temperatures up to 400°C (750°F) as a dry film lubricant, and 1315°C (2400°F) when used as an anti-seize lubricant.
